Progressive career role for a technology leader at the forefront of digital (online and mobile) programme management.
Our client is a large and highly successful financial services organisation which is driving forward with the digital agenda, particularly in mobile and online channels to market.
This is a progressive new role, which will take responsibility for managing and growing the digital technology development team.
The primary responsibility for the role is to maximise delivery capability, and also to take a strategic approach to new developments, to identify and enhance improvements in the methods of delivery, team development, and the use of new technologies.
On the delivery side, the role will have overall responsibility for a wide portfolio of digital projects with the objective of delivery excellence, releasing quality software, first time, on time, within budget.
Candidates will have a background with a company where mobile and online channels to market are a component of the business, ideally (but not exclusively) financial services.
Candidates will also demonstrate strong career growth to date, and will have potential for fast promotion.
The role is based in Buckinghamshire, commutable from London or Birmingham. Relocation expenses will be paid for people out with commuting distance.

- A background managing technology teams in a digital environment;
- Strong programme management skills;
- People and team management skills and ability to manage staff, demonstrated by experience of leading a teams of 20 staff plus;
- Understanding of online and mobile technologies;
- A university degree.
