Senior Consultant – Change and Transformation

My client is an established, award-winning boutique consulting firm specialising in people-centred change and transformation. With a highly collaborative and supportive culture, ambitious growth targets and a strong forward pipeline of work in the UK and the US, it is an exciting time to join their team as a Senior Consultant. Uniquely, the firm is offering the opportunity for the Senior Consultant to immerse themselves in all aspects of the firm’s operations as part of their induction and initial training, before undertaking client-facing work.

You will spend your first six months in an internal operations role, gaining a vital insight into how the business really works. You will be expected to make a real contribution to areas such as marketing/PR, bids and proposals, recruitment and resource management, through which you will build strong relationships with colleagues and the leadership team. After six months you will then move on to the delivery of client projects, working as part of a consulting team and leading small workstreams to drive sustainable change for blue-chip clients.

This role might be particularly appealing to experienced consultants seeking a period of low travel, as the first six months will be based in the London office, or those moving from a large consultancy seeking to have greater impact in a smaller environment.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience within a top-tier consulting firm. Ideally this will include some experience within the Retail or Utilities sector, or another B2C environment.
• Expertise in at least one of the following:

-Business Transformation,

-Operational Excellence

-Strategy Execution

PLUS either,

• Operating model and organisation design or
• Leadership and culture change

Flexibility to travel and spend time away from home on client projects (UK and international) during the week after the first six months.
