About our Client

A market leader in their field, our client is the consulting division of a global professional services firm. Over the past fourteen years they have established themselves as specialists in delivering transformation programmes with deep expertise in Infrastructure, Asset Management and Capital Projects. This includes particular specialism in Procurement and Supply Chain, where they work with clients in Property, Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities and the Public Sector to tackle complex supply-chain related business challenges. With a strong forward pipeline of client work in this area, they are now recruiting experienced Procurement consultants at Manager level.

About the Role

The role offers the opportunity to join a highly successful, entrepreneurial team and contribute to high-impact business-focused projects. Working within the Business Transformation team, you will lead project teams to design and deliver procurement solutions for clients, often as part of broader transformation projects. As a Manager you will also have the opportunity to contribute to client relationship management, business development and the growth of the practice through proposition and solution development.

Whilst the role will involve working on client sites, and therefore may require you to spend time away from home during the week, the firm is able to accommodate some candidates seeking flexible or part-time working arrangements.

About You

The practice is growing and this is a role for someone looking to make real impact within an entrepreneurial environment, with the backing of a large, established brand.

Deep specialism in procurement processes and transformation is essential and ideally will be combined with previous experience within management consulting. You will have worked with clients in at least one of the following sectors: Property, Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities or the Public Sector, and be excited by the opportunity to focus your procurement expertise on construction and building projects.

Please check you meet the following mandatory requirements before applying:

  • Recent experience in an established, well-regarded consulting firm or on internal change projects. Your experience should encompass project delivery and leadership. Business development experience would be beneficial.
  • Specific content knowledge in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, with some specialist category experience in construction or facilities management.
  • Education to degree level. MCIPS would be highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home as required.
