About our Client
A market leader in their field, our client is the consulting division of a global professional services firm. Over the past fourteen years they have established themselves as specialists in delivering transformation programmes with deep expertise in Infrastructure and Capital Projects. Benefits Realisation Management is a core capability within their consulting offering, dedicated to improving clients’ performance through the use of clearly defined methodologies and processes. With a strong forward pipeline of client work in this area, particular for clients in the transportation sector they are now recruiting experienced consultants at all levels.
About the Role
Working within the Business Transformation team, you will be aligned to the Benefits Realisation Management service line and will play a lead role in developing this capability within the business, influencing benefits-led thinking within client organisations and internally. You will contribute to, and manage, benefits realisation management commissions for clients and at the more senior levels will also be expected to contribute to business development activity.
The firm has a very open, people-focused culture and the opportunities for professional development and career progression are excellent. Whilst the role will involve working on client sites, and therefore may require you to spend time away from home during the week, the firm is able to accommodate some candidates seeking flexible or part-time working arrangements.
Prior experience within management consulting, combined with some specific expertise in Benefits Realisation Management is a must for success in this role. Much of the current work is with clients in the transportation sector and so knowledge/experience of this industry would be particularly beneficial.
Your experience may have been gained within another management consultancy firm, or perhaps you have broader business process change consulting experience combined with time spent within industry. Whichever career path you have followed, you must be able to demonstrate experience of legacy (social, environmental, economic) benefits delivery, and ideally this will be complemented by operational (cost, quality, risk and time) benefits management.

- Recent experience in an established, well-regarded consulting firm. Your experience should encompass project delivery as well as leadership and contribution to business development for the more senior roles.
- Excellent knowledge of benefits realisation management processes and techniques.
- Education to degree level.
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home as required.
