Newly created Director-level role in boutique change management consultancy.
About our Client
Based in London, with a growing global client base, our client is a boutique change management consultancy. Over the last fifteen years, they have established themselves as specialists in delivering emotionally intelligent people-based solutions that transform businesses and drive performance. Their approach is characterised by an energetic and personable style that has enabled them to build lasting relationships with clients and create a culture in which people enjoy working. As a result of recent project successes, particularly in the retail sector, they are now looking to recruit at Director level.
About the Role
As a Director you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly into the Managing Partner. Your time will split evenly between managing the delivery of client projects and business development activities (initially growing existing accounts, although the ability to develop new clients will also be required). In addition, you will be expected to lead and coach consultants within the business, contribute to developing methodologies and thought leadership, and thus play a significant role in determining the future direction of the firm.
The scale of the business means that you will need to be something of a generalist and bring broad experience of change management and business transformation, although this may also include particular specialism in one or more of the following areas: organisation design and development, leadership development, end-to-end customer processes, delivering cultural change. You will be engaging with clients across a range of industries in the private sector, although there is some specialism in the retail sector.
Prior experience within an established consulting firm is a must for success in this role. You may currently be working in a larger firm but looking to take a lead role in a smaller business with opportunity for equity. Or you may even have made the move out of management consultancy into industry and now want to consolidate your experience by moving back into consulting in a leadership role.
Whatever route your career has taken, you’ll need to have gained the consulting, leadership, change management and business development experience required for this role. Alongside that you’ll need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence as well as real creativity and a passion for transforming businesses.

- Recent experience in an established, well-regarded consulting firm working with private sector clients to lead change management or business transformation projects.
- A track record of successfully developing client accounts and winning business within a consulting firm.
- A degree from a top UK university or similar.
