Technology Programme Director

Experienced IT and Digital transformation Programme Director sought for key practice leadership role

It has an integrated and well established management consultancy practice focussed on ensuring their clients truly transform their organisations and realise significant business benefits. They deliver some of the most complex transformation programmes in the UK, often including large scale ICT solutions in which digital is a key component.

The Digital & Technology Practice works closely with other practices and client directors to ensure the delivery of an integrated proposition to clients and takes the lead in ensuring that exceptional business outcomes are delivered utilising robust and capable technology solutions. The team acts as the link between the technology suppliers and the business, translating business requirements into technology and ensuring that the technology will deliver the business benefit.

As a result of promotion they are seeking a proven IT Programme Director to lead this practice, managing a small team of Technical Programme Managers, Solution and Enterprise architects working across sectors and reporting to the Managing Director of this 200 person business.

This role has responsibility for the growth and development of the practice, its people and its propositions but is primarily a hands on, client facing role with the requirement to deliver the largest and most complex consulting projects.

• Recent experience in a senior capacity in a recognised consultancy or transformation practice.
• Hybrid business development, delivery and practice development experience.
• Technology background with a strong digital awareness
• deep programme delivery capability supported by recognised qualifications.
• Current sector depth in one of more of: central government, local government, financial services, utilities, telco.
• Degree qualified.
• Mobile to work with clients across the UK
