Description:

Our client is a very high growth European strategic Banking consulting firm: formed in 2006 by big 4 consulting partners. It is now 110 consultants and taking its first expansion steps with the opening of a new operational consulting business from a new London office. This is being led by one of their most senior and experienced Partners who has moved to London as this is a critical phase in their growth plans.

Already with a strong pipeline of work with two major banks they are seeking an experienced and high calibre financial services consultant to join the business at Principal (Director) or Partner level. Unique, a most overused term, is an accurate description of this opportunity.

This hire will play a key role in the establishment of the London office. The role will be strongly sales and business development orientated (and the level of sales will determine the level of the role) but will also involve client delivery responsibilities and playing a full part in the leadership and development of this new business, initially in London but potentially further afield in due course.

The role will be demanding of course but is not expected to be high travel i.e. mainly Central London with European trips.

Any appointment at Principal level would be on the clear understanding of subsequent promotion to Partner: at Partner level a profit share arrangement applies which is expected to generate remuneration comparable with Partner earnings in the largest consulting firms.

Please check you meet the following mandatory requirements before applying:

  • Financial Services experience and senior UK contacts in any of: Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Retail Banking or Insurance
  • Experience in a senior permanent role in a recognised management consultancy practice
  • Sales experience and the proven ability to win consulting work
  • Business consulting experience involving one or more of target operating model design and development, business transformation, change, process analysis and improvement, PMO, digital, CRM etc.

We can only accept applications from candidates with a current Right to Work in the UK and who are based in the UK with experience in UK Financial Services.

Please apply to Sheila Bradbury, in strictest confidence, quoting reference: 6032-SB.

ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE REPLIED TO!
