Our client is a very high growth European strategic Banking consulting firm: formed in 2006 by Big 4 consulting partners, it now comprises 112 consultants and is taking its first expansion steps with the opening of a new operational consulting business in London. This is being led by one of their most senior and experienced Partners who has moved to London to manage this critical phase in their growth plans.
Already with a strong pipeline of work with major banks, they are seeking an experienced and high calibre Financial Services Consultant to join the business at Manager or Senior Manager level. Unique, a most overused term, is an accurate description of this opportunity.
This hire will play a key role in the establishment of the London office: while clearly client and delivery focused, responsible for project management of change and process improvements, the individual will take on broader business development, proposition development and practice responsibilities. The role will involve client delivery and playing a full part in the leadership and development of this new business. They are seeking an ambitious, fast track individual capable of early promotion: their early hires are already Partners in the parent company.
The role will be demanding of course but is not expected to be high travel i.e. mainly Central London with European trips.
Please check you meet the following mandatory requirements before applying:
The suitable candidate will:
- be an experienced Financial Services Consultant, ideally with a focus on Capital Markets and Private Banking but experience in Retail Banking and Insurance would also be attractive.
- have business consulting experience in a recognised management consultancy practice, i.e. leading projects involving one or more of the following: change, process analysis and improvement, PMO, digital, CRM etc.
- be experienced in supporting a sales team in proposition development, prospect identification, contract negotiation etc.
We can only accept applications from candidates with a current Right to Work in the UK and who are based in the UK with experience in UK Financial Services.
