Google’s HR boss reveals top tips for job interview success

Google’s top HR executive has been posting advice as part of a marketing initiative for his book release. It’s suprisingly sensible and insightful: usually senior people really don’t have a clue or feel they have to give advice that conforms to some party line (theirs or their business). It’s only slightly undermined by his claim that interviewers spend most of the interview trying to justify the impression they formed of you in the first 10 seconds which therefore rather suggests that interview technique has no role beyond this point!
