Why most recruiters wouldn’t go to university

Recruitment is a very odd career: it can accommodate and challenge employees ranging from someone who left school with no GCSEs to Partners from global advisory firms and CEOs with stellar qualifications who move into top level headhunting. What is important is horses for courses: some jobs would be much better handled by the former but in the case of Executive and Professional Services recruitment it is essential  that the recruiter is seen as  “peer level” by the person hiring and the potential candidate pool.
